Daily Sip Studio Visit

What seems like forever ago (okay, it actually was forever ago since I had a different job and was living in a different apartment), I visited Chicago. It was a VERY eventful trip (babies born, hot dogs consumed) and chalk full of blog worthy happenings.
In between visits to the hospital to welcome baby Sivan W. to the world and trips to SuperDawg to sample some of Chicago's best wieners, I also stopped by the studio of one of my favorite Etsy designers: Kimberly F. of Daily Sip Studios!
You see, Kimberly supplies some of my favorite go-to gifts: personalized note cards with custom return addresses for new apartments or homes or for friends who have recently engaged. Needless to say, I am a very frequent visitor to Kimberly's Etsy shop, and was thrilled to find out that she had launched a blog only a few weeks after I discovered her online store.
Based on what I read, I learned that Kimberly lived in Chicago and sounded like a really fun and creative person! We traded blog posts (remember when my personalized note cards arrived with the rounded corners--I loved those!) and I decided to drop her a little note and mention that I was going to be in Chicago.
I did, and to my surprise, she didn't think I was a complete Etsy stalker and allowed me and Julie F. and Amy B. into her studio to photograph and learn about her business. I loved everything I saw in her very well organized and open studio. The ceilings were high and the creative energy was flowing.
During our visit, I talked about my love of her items with lined envelopes (who doesn't love a lined envelope) and after we left, she posted this little note announcing that she was featuring an expanded line of lined envelopes. I am thrilled! I also learned that she purchased and received a letterpress (so keep your eyes peeled for notes from me on personalized letterpress cards!) which she had been researching for a very long time. Congrats, Kimberly!

It was a fabulous visit and I am thrilled to continue to support Kimberly's little Esty home on the web. Next time you're looking for a gift or some personalized note cards, stop by Daily Sip Studios.

Hi Em! I love your note cards with rounded edges! (I know that's from a different post, but the link to it was on this one) I feel the same way about low weight card stock :)
How cool! I'll have to check out her store soon. I'm in need of new thank you notes for sure!
