Liv Liv, the Lima Bean

Olivia is almost six weeks old and we seem to become more obsessed with her as each day passes. She is so advanced--I've witnessed her move her head from one direction to another and make eye contact with people holding her. She has also modeled one of Gloria F.'s famous pumpkin hats AND donned a "Barack-a-bye Baby" onesie purchased at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

Because of her extraordinary baby status, she has also inspired the creation of a song in her honor! The lyrics were first developed by her aunt (my sister), Rebecca G., and additional verses were added by her maternal grandparents, Grandma Lois and Grandpa Peter. I shot a quick video of an impromptu performance this weekend:
