Welcome to the world, Olivia!

My sister and brother-in-law welcomed a new baby into their family last week. Olivia Abigail was born at 4:57 on Friday, February 6. She is soft, mushy, perfect, small, and really very fabulous. Her name means "olive tree" and her middle name is after my strong and loving grandpa, Abraham. I am already having so much fun as an aunt (please call me Auntie Em from now on) but am still working to perfect my swaddle approach.

I am incredibly proud of Sarah and Erik. They have handled the arrival of this new precious person with grace and humor and I am honored to be part of their lives and Olivia's.
